Practical Experience

After graduation, I work as a general dentist in two different dental practices in The Netherlands. Both dental practices had different approaches and clientele, which taught me to be flexible and tailor the dental care to patients’ unique needs. I worked with lots of anxiety patients and children.

Besides working as a general dentist, I also worked as an academic lecturer for the Department of Pediatrics at the Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam, at the Vrije University in Amsterdam(The Netherlands).

For me, combing practical dentistry and the academic field was the best of both worlds since Dentistry is such an innovative world where evidence- based research is essential.

Why did you want to be a dentist ?

I loved going to the dentist from a young age. My dentist created a safe environment for her patients and cared for them. I was inspired by that, so as I grew older, I wanted to help people through dentistry, aiming to help patients smile again.

Why should clients choose you ?

The ethical side of my work revolves around patients being at ease and comfortable during treatments.Dental care should be tailored to the patients’ unique needs since every patient is different.

Especially children, they are all unique and need their different approaches.
